Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift
Location: Tulsa, OK, 74146. Work Arrangement:
Onsite.
SWEP, part of the Dover Corporation, has been producing innovative brazed plate heat exchangers since 1983. SWEP focuses on sustainable energy solutions across HVACR and industrial applications worldwide.
OverviewConduct quality control activities across the production cycle, including inspection, measurement, and testing of incoming materials and finished products, documentation of results, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Inspect and approve incoming materials, confirming specifications and performing visual and measurement tests.
- Inspect in-process production, confirm specifications, and communicate adjustments to production.
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications, performing visual and measurement tests, returning for rework, and confirming rework.
- Document inspection results through reports, logs, and data entry into the quality database.
- Maintain measuring equipment by following operating instructions and calibration schedules.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and company regulations.
- Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related duties as needed.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
- Use PPE and safety equipment as required.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in safety training and drills.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards.
- Minimum 1 year in quality control.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good teamwork and a positive attitude.
- Interpersonal and people management skills.
- Computer literate with basic technical drawing interpretation.
- Ability to handle inspection tools and basic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Ability to work independently with initiative.
