We are seeking a hands‑on Project Manager to support our growing fabrication operation. This role will be responsible for managing projects from estimating through production coordination and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment and be comfortable working directly with customers, vendors, and internal production teams.

• Prepare project estimates and pricing based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• Perform material takeoffs and calculate labor/material needs for fabrication projects
• Coordinate procurement of materials, components, and outside services to support project schedules
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer project managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with the Fabrication Manager to coordinate production schedules, priorities, and project timelines
• Track project progress, budgets, and delivery milestones to ensure customer expectations are met
• Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify project requirements and potential issues
• Assist with scheduling, job costing, and documentation related to fabrication projects
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to estimating accuracy, workflow, and project execution
• Maintain strong communication between customers, vendors, engineering, and shop personnel

• 4+ years of experience in project management, estimating, or coordination within a fabrication, manufacturing, steel, industrial, or construction environment
• Experience performing material takeoffs and reading fabrication or construction drawings
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and shop operations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP systems or estimating software
• Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
• Ability to work effectively with both office staff and shop floor personnel
• Ideal experience would be in combustion, emission control, or structural steel fabrication. Familiarity with ASME U, S, and R is ideal.
