Machinist-Tulsa

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders.

* Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to produce accurate parts.

* Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.

* Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe work area.

* Monitor machine operations and report any issues to senior machinists or supervisors.

* Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and quality.

* Learn and apply shop safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

* Completion of a machining, manufacturing, or technical program preferred.

* Basic knowledge of machining principles, mechanical aptitude, and use of hand tools.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.

* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
