This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision tools and equipment, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the success of daily production operations.

Responsibilities

* Safely load and unload work pieces onto grinding and deburring equipment.

* Inspect work pieces for defects, irregularities, and imperfections prior to and during processing.

* Measure and mark materials to ensure proper dimensions, specifications, and tolerances are achieved.

* Perform grinding and deburring operations to remove excess material and create a smooth, quality finish.

* Clean and prepare cores and metal components for production and finishing processes.

* Band, organize, and prepare finished metal products for movement and shipment.

* Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and product quality.

* Utilize precision measuring tools and instruments to verify finished dimensions.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

* Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.

* Assist with additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Previous experience as a Deburr Technician, Grinder, or in a similar manufacturing or fabrication role preferred but not required

* Knowledge of grinding techniques, finishing methods, and related equipment.

* Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements, including drug screening and background checks.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

* Ability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy work pieces and materials.

* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to metal dust, noise, and production equipment.

* Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday.
