Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location :
Tulsa, OK
Pay: $20.00/hr. on W2
Duration : 06 months contract
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a combination of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on facility equipment, physical structures, and grounds. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance, inspections, basic repairs, and vendor coordination, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on facility equipment and building infrastructure.
Conduct routine inspections of fire safety systems, facility structures, and grounds to identify issues and maintain compliance.
Carry out minor carpentry work and structural maintenance tasks such as repairing walls, floors, doors, and ceilings.
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Safely operate ladders and lifts for elevated maintenance tasks.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and compliant completion of outsourced work.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Facili Works to track work orders and maintenance records.
Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT, ANSI).
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 4 years of relevant maintenance experience, or 2 years of post-secondary education (Associate's degree) with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Basic understanding of safety standards and building codes.
Ability to develop and apply job-specific knowledge and skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer use.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CMMS tools such as Facili Works.
Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical are a strong plus.
Additional training or credentials in OSHA, NFPA, EPA, or other regulatory programs are highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
May require standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting moderate loads.
Exposure to typical facility environments including mechanical rooms and outdoor areas.
