Inside Sales Associate – Master Halco

Position within the fence and building products industry focused on selling fencing products to contractors, distributors, and retailers.

• Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospects to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
• Calling current customers by phone to generate orders for scheduled delivery routes and inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
• Maintain excellence in phone sales, computer entry, and customer-facing engagement.

• Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware.
• Do‑It‑Yourself retail.
• Construction.
• Mechanical/Electrical.

• Competitive pay range of $22.88 to $27.00 per hour (based on experience).
• Quarterly Bonus Program and spiffs.
• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Typical operating hours are 8 am – 5 pm.

• Partner with outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
• Collect market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, and market conditions, and inform the Branch Manager.
• Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
• Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
• Prepare job‑order quotations based upon customer requests and information.
• Communicate by phone or email with customers from time of order to time of shipment.

• High school graduate or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Excellent phone and customer‑facing experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS applications (Excel required).
