About The Role
Our client is seeking a hands‑on Tool & Die Lead to oversee toolroom operations and ensure tooling is built, maintained, and repaired to support production needs. This role provides technical leadership while working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to maintain efficient stamping operations.

Key Responsibilities- Lead daily toolroom activities and coordinate tool and die makers and apprentices
- Prioritize and assign tooling work to support production schedules and reduce press downtime
- Oversee construction, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of progressive and transfer dies
- Support production with die setup issues and stamping press troubleshooting
- Maintain preventive maintenance programs and tooling records
- Ensure safety, quality standards, and proper toolroom equipment maintenance
- Train and mentor toolroom staff and collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and customer teams on tooling improvements and new builds
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred
- 5+ years of tool and die experience in metal stamping or fabrication environments
- Strong knowledge of progressive and transfer dies, tooling repair, and press troubleshooting
- Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and part specifications
- Experience with precision machining, grinding, welding, and measurement tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM and Microsoft Office preferred
- Wire EDM programming and operating experience
- Full‑time schedule:
Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM - Quarterly bonus eligibility
