We are seeking a skilled and driven professional to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of traffic management strategies and operations. This pivotal role ensures the safe, efficient, and sustainable movement of people and vehicles across the network, while supporting local priorities and statutory responsibilities.
You will provide expert leadership on road safety, traffic regulation, and congestion management, working closely with members, stakeholders, and communities to develop and deliver effective schemes. This is a great opportunity to shape traffic management initiatives, drive innovation, and improve transport outcomes across the borough.
The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required and access to a car, in order to make site visits and attend meetings.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
