- Co-ordinate and oversee all Stores activities at our Longforgan Warehouse to ensure efficient, adhered to processes and to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate logistical process and investigate any failures and discrepancies.
- Planning workloads and delegating tasks.
- Ensure the accuracy of stock reports.
- Plan, organise and participate in daily Stores tasks, including the receipt, documentation, storage and dispatch of goods and materials.
- Assessing team performance and providing feedback to line manager.
- Be involved in devising ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand for customers.
- Help record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
- Ensure all orders are picked, packed and despatched within the required customer service level agreements.
- Review and resolve any escalated Stores related queries.
- Utilise space efficiently and effectively.
- Operate and coordinate the training in the use of warehouse equipment and machinery including the scheduling of routine maintenance and servicing as required.
- Observe health and safety requirements and maintain the Stores in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
- Forklift Truck driving as required.
- Liaising with internal repairers to ensure accurate reporting and tracking of parts internally.
- Dealing with couriers and hauliers as required.
- As per Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Employee's must also take care of their own health and safety and that of others. Cooperate with their employers. Not interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety.
- Essential:
Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures. - Plan, organise, evaluate and train Stores team in all procedures.
- Effectively communicate both written and verbal.
- Positive "can do" attitude.
- Competent with Microsoft tools including Outlook & Excel with ability to analyse and report data.
- Health and safety regulations.
- Ability to travel around the UK (up to 20%) if required.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Fork Lift Truck License
- Clean Driver's License
