Position: Environmental Chemistry Analyst with Training in EX6 8FD, Starcross, Devon
Location: Starcross

Chemistry Analyst

Temporary, initially until end of March 2027. Role is Tuesday to Saturday. The role will be based in Starcross.

The lab analyses environmental samples accredited to ISO/IEC
17025. The team analyses environmental samples for inorganic analysis by a range of different techniques and instrumentation. The lab has a high sample throughput.

You will demonstrate key capabilities of communication, customer focus, decision making, delivery of work, planning, problem solving, and teamwork. You will be involved in sample preparation, analysis of samples, some hands‑on analysis, and reporting results.

Qualifications & Requirements

Available to start within 4 weeks. Chemistry degree or closely related, or A level Chemistry.

Ideally already local to Exeter.

Full training will be given. Pay rise also pending.
