Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Great opportunity with a regional civil engineering contractor, for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for quick progression to QS and to work on long-term regional projects.

Working with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will initially have the opportunity to work on HS2, Water and roads projects, with values between from 5 - 25m, across Berkshire and Oxfordshire, with the opportunity for quick promotion.

• Day to day commercial administration of the projects &/or packages under NEC.
• Undertaking and CE's and EW's
• Reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme.
• Being trained to monitor, forecast and report on budgets and costs against programme and producing CVR's.
• Reviewing payment applications
• Attending client and project progress meetings.

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification and relevant experience.
• 3+ years' experience working on Civil Engineering / infrastructure projects.
• NEC or Yellow Book contract experience would be advantageous but not essential, as the client run their own in-house NEC and contract training programme.
• Happy to be office and/or site based.

• To work with an established and growing regional civil engineering contractor.
