As part of the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese, we are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Teacher who excels in case management and executing individualized education plans. This position requires a collaborative spirit, the ability to work closely with administrators, teachers, and families, and a deep commitment to bringing out the best in every student.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Learning Support department’s operations
• Design and execute individualized education strategies
• Train and guide educators on curricular adaptations
• Evaluate student progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Build relationships with families and community stakeholders
Requirements:
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Proven experience with individualized education strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with diverse educational needs
• Two recent professional references
