Our client is looking for a dynamic individual to contribute to a variety of projects within the mining, power, and water sectors. This position offers the chance to work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Our client is seeking a motivated professional to join their team in a role focused on groundwater and hydrogeological projects. This position involves working on diverse assignments within the mining, hydropower, and water infrastructure sectors.

Take on fieldwork assignments that may include domestic and international travel, providing hands‑on experience in real‑world environments.

Key Responsibilities
Perform field investigations, including installation of monitoring wells, pumping wells, vibrating wire piezometers, and conducting packer tests.
Collect groundwater samples and conduct water quality evaluations.
Assess and characterize baseline groundwater conditions.
Estimate groundwater inflows for open pits and underground mines, and perform seepage analyses.
Develop and apply numerical groundwater models.
Prepare technical reports to support environmental assessments, feasibility studies, and water management strategies.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or Geological Engineering.
Interest in working across multiple sectors, including mining and water infrastructure.
Previous hydrogeological experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Valid driver’s license for British Columbia.
