Provide patient-centered care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Providence Health Care's Hemodialysis Unit. Experience an enriching role in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on nephrology.
As an LPN, you'll join a dedicated team ensuring quality patient care in hemodialysis.
Your role requires proficiency in hemodialysis procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork. Applicants should have at least one year of relevant acute care experience, current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses, and CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document patient care during dialysis
• Perform hemodialysis nursing duties in collaboration with RNs
• Monitor patients and communicate any changes
• Administer medications following established protocols
• Maintain knowledge of dialysis equipment and procedures
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration with BC College of Nurses
• One year of acute care experience required
• Completed Dialysis Program for LPNs
• Basic cardiac life support certification
• Willingness to complete post-basic education as required
