Serve as an ACT Nurse at Rain City Housing, providing crucial support for clients facing mental health challenges and substance use issues in Vancouver. This role involves comprehensive assessments and collaborative care strategies.
In this casual nursing position, your responsibilities include evaluating client needs and implementing holistic treatment plans. As a Registered Nurse on the Assertive Community Treatment team, you will address physical, psychiatric, social, and spiritual aspects of care while adhering to BCCNM standards. Become an integral part of the team that fosters strength-based and inclusive care approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and identify client care requirements
• Implement and evaluate treatment plans based on best practices
• Collaborate with community health and interdisciplinary teams
• Conduct intake and crisis intervention as necessary
• Administer medications and monitor client health status
Requirements:
• RN/RPN Bachelor's or Diploma degree
• Current BCCNM practicing registration
• Minimum three years’ experience in mental health treatment
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
• Clear criminal record check requirement
