Registered Nurse in St. Paul’s NICU

Support critically ill infants as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit l’s Hospital. This role engages your skills in advanced neonatal nursing and compassionate care.
l’s Hospital, you’ll provide essential nursing services to newborns in the NICU. Applicants must hold current RN registration and have at least two years of NICU experience. Your expertise will guide the evaluation, planning, and execution of nursing care, ensuring each infant receives personalized support in a culturally safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of newborn health and needs

• Implement and modify care plans as needed

• Document and report changes in patient status

• Facilitate interdisciplinary communication among healthcare teams

• Offer teaching and support to families
Requirements:

• Active registration with BC College of Nurses

• Experience in NICU or equivalent setting required

• Must possess neonatal resuscitation certification

• Proficient in CPR practices for newborns

• Capable of managing emergency situations effectively
