Shape the future of serverless containers by joining Amazon as a Software Development Manager for Elastic Container Service (ECS). Lead the ECS Dataplane group driving critical software development.
In this key leadership role, you will manage engineering teams and oversee the lifecycle of tasks on AWS Fargate. With your extensive experience in multi-tier web services and distributed software systems, you will guide the team in developing solutions that empower major AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead the ECS Dataplane engineering team
• Define and develop multi-tier web services for AWS
• Architect and design serverless container systems
• Collaborate with product and program management teams
• Ensure operational reliability of customer-facing services
Requirements:
• 3+ years in engineering team management
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Experience in scalable service-oriented architecture
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle
