Overview

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in integrated aircraft systems, delivering end‑to‑end C4

ISR solutions for the U.S. Air Force’s Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC).

• Provide technical leadership for mass properties calculations and analyses.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Oversee comprehensive mass properties testing and validation.
• Inventory and weigh aircraft.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Develop and implement mass properties best practices and standards.
• Foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience (higher level degree may substitute).
• Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with computer aided engineering tools.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams.

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
• Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, including parametric design, model‑based definition, and fundamentals of flight mechanics.
• Background in the aerospace and defense industry, U.S. Department of Defense and/or U.S. military.

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• May require lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Work in an office, lab, hangar, or hybrid environment.
• May be required to occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
