Ludlow Elementary School is seeking a paraprofessional educator for the  school year for an incoming new student. The following are requirements of this demanding, yet dynamic position:

• Assist during teacher directed instruction
• Monitor students during independent or group activities
• Prepare curriculum materials with direction from the teacher
• Monitor student safety in a variety of settings
• Work with students who are diverse learners
• Help students access curriculum, with support
• Help with student accommodations and modifications
• Support social interaction with students
• Any other duty assigned by the supervisor in supporting students

The ideal candidate should have a high level of energy and work well with all students. 48 college credits or taking the Para Pro exam is required.

• Candidates must be highly qualified with an Associate’s degree or by successful completion of the Para Pro Assessment. A background check is required.
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
