Randolph, VT
* Starting Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour (depending on experience)
* Shift Details: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Core Hours)
* Monday - Friday
* OT as needed
* Full Time / Direct Hire

Our Pattern Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the tooling used to mold our cast iron to produce Hearth & Home Technologies' industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products. This is an apprenticeship position where you will learn the skills necessary to become an expert in the field.
Pattern Technician Duties Include
* Stage molding tools for next day's production schedule
* Load tooling into molding cassettes and deliver to molding department utilizing a forklift
* Unload molding tools from production and remove tooling from cassettes after production requirements are satisfied
* Cut, install, sand and polish gating systems on new molding tools
* Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
* Learn how to perform basic pattern repairs (i.e., replacing in-gates, vents, runners, wipers & cups)
* Learn how to identify and resolve molding scrap defects via gating enhancements
* Work in a team-driven environment to move quality products safely and improve efficiency
