As part of the Public Works team, you will collaborate on various paving projects under the guidance of the Crew Leader. This role requires expertise in operating heavy machinery and performing maintenance work on roads, sidewalks, and drainage interfaces to create a durable environment for the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain roads, parks, and drainage systems
• Safely operate trucks, loaders, and other equipment
• Perform snow removal activities as needed
• Maintain signage and respond to community inquiries
• Conduct inspections of community assets and document findings
Requirements:
• Minimum of Grade 12 education
• At least two years in civil construction
• One year of experience in asphalt paving
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license essential
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
