Telecommunications Equipment Installer

Join the dynamic field of telecommunications as a Line Installer. This role involves hands-on installation and maintenance of aerial and underground telephone systems and equipment.

As a Telecommunications Line Installer, you will work both aloft and at ground level. Your responsibilities will include inspecting cable signals, completing service reports, and repairing transmission systems. You will also splice, join, and connect wires, ensuring reliable communication services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test cable signals and equipment

• Install and maintain telephone equipment, both aerial and underground

• Complete and maintain test and service reports

• Climb and work on poles and ladders

• Repair and maintain transmission systems

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation certificate

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

• Ability to work at heights

• Strong communication skills for team coordination

• Mechanical aptitude for equipment installation
