Position: Electrician Needed Schools
Join School District No. 22 in Vernon as an Electrician. This temporary position emphasizes electrical maintenance and installation across educational facilities.

In this role, you will work under the Maintenance Manager and engage in the installation, repair, and alteration of electrical systems. Key skills include managing alarms, communication systems, and lighting. You will also coordinate with other trades to ensure safety and accuracy in project completion and liaise with school staff to meet their electrical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain various electrical systems and equipment

• Prioritize and plan work using appropriate techniques

• Test and service electrical alarms and control systems

• Liaise with staff to determine specific electrical needs

• Coordinate tasks with trades helpers and monitor progress

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education

• Interprovincial Trade Certification as an electrician

• Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
