Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. The role will support and oversee repair activities for Walmart facilities refrigeration HVAC equipment, using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart’s safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.
