Marketing Manager for British Swim School


The Marketing Manager works as a key member of the marketing team to strengthen and protect the brand and support our franchisees with marketing efforts to drive revenue for their business. The position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for the franchise system, providing project management working alongside the marketing team.
  • Consult with franchisees to implement marketing and training initiatives focused on customer recruitment and retention, increased business, and bottom-line profitability at the local level.  Act as a primary marketing resource for experienced franchisees.
  • Lead Creative-Design/Copy/Broadcast, Public Relations, Content Marketing and Social Media initiatives for Consumer Marketing and Franchise Development campaigns.
  • Perform forecasting and ROI performance analyses on Consumer Marketing campaigns, ultimately reviewing campaign-level and program-level analyses against the national marketing budget.
  • Collaborate with Brand Operations team members to ensure consistent administration, effective franchisee relationships, and organized communication.
  • Manage relationships with relevant marketing vendors and advertising partners.
  • Serve as designated marketing system platforms master.
  • Participate in marketing sessions in conjunction with meet the team days, annual meetings, training sessions and franchisee advisory groups, as needed.
  • Create and edit marketing content including training materials, promotional materials, documentation for franchisee intranet, presentations, blog posts/articles, etc.
  • Stay abreast of marketing trends and prepare POVs to share with the team/system on Marketing initiatives.
  • Support franchise development efforts through the creation of marketing collateral and participation in relevant franchise development team discussions.
  • Assign DBAs and ensure brand compliance across all franchise marketing.
  • Manage Marketing Intern, if applicable.
 Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing or advertising.
  • Thorough knowledge of advertising mediums and their appropriate usage, including digital marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization, and advertising media.
  • Able to apply creative thinking skills to develop new strategic marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities including budgetary and financial acumen.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Must have a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a high degree of professional maturity.
  • Highly organized with strong project and time management skills; strong multi-tasker.
  •  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the franchise industry, multi-location business, or advertising agency.
