Agriculture teacher at HHS
QualificationsThe teacher will conduct an instructional program according to the VDOE and Washington County Public Schools. The teacher will:
- Prepare lesson plans prepared, in conformity with VDOE regulations and school procedures.
- Use technology and instructional materials relevant to the students' needs; and
- Develop skills and abilities of students in the school laboratory.
The FFA is an integral part of the instructional program. All Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources departments are expected to have an active FFA chapter. It is the duty of the teacher to serve as advisor for the local chapter. It is necessary that the teacher spend time planning and conducting leadership, citizenship, and cooperative activities for students at the district, area, state, and national levels.

Effective Date: School Year;
Extended contract days available based upon experience
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience
