The shipper/receiver position provides the initial inspection on incoming commercial items from suppliers and the final quality check on orders to the customer. The incumbent promotes the high standard of customer service that Maag Gala Inc. has built, ensuring that all orders are received accurately and shipped on time to our customers.
Responsibilities- Identify and tag items to pack on customer orders.
- Pack items securely for shipment on UPS, Fed‑Ex, DHL and truck shipments.
- Use current business system to reprint packing slips and identification tags for spare‑parts orders.
- Receive and inspect commercial items ordered from suppliers.
- Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and to remove/replace items on inventory shelves.
- Work with other inventory personnel to consolidate multiple orders on coordinated shipments.
- Pull issue and deliver items for job orders for spare‑part orders, projects, and inventory.
- Other tasks as assigned by the manager.
While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE may be required.
Physical Requirements- Lifting up to 80 pounds.
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing regularly.
- Use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Maintain close, distance, color, peripheral and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work in a warehouse situation subject to changing environmental conditions such as temperature variations, humidity, rain, snow, wind and direct sunlight.
- High school diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills to advance in the company.
- Possess a valid forklift license or willingness and ability to obtain one.
- Detail oriented.
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Ability and willingness to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and efficient.
- Independent self‑starter with problem‑solving ability.
- Strong team player with work ethic and commitment to win.

Monday to Friday with possible weekends or holidays as needed.
Travel frequency: 5%
Pay & BonusPay Range: $ per hour.

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
