Inclusive Learning Mentor ()
Full time (37) and part-time hours available.
Salary: 30,438 to 32,292 full-time equivalent. Pro rata for part time.
Location:
Wakefield, Castleford or Selby College.
This post is funded through the Inclusive Mainstream Fund and contributes to national SEND reforms.
Responsibilities- Enable rapid progress for students with SEND and other vulnerable characteristics in vocational study and Preparing for Adulthood Outcomes.
- Analyse student needs within the department and liaise with colleagues to support development towards meeting those needs.
- Provide training and support for colleagues regarding SEND, inclusion and other vulnerable characteristics.
- GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.
- Experience of SEND or other vulnerable characteristics.
- Experience of supporting young people in a school/college setting.
- A Level 3 Education and Training and a relevant SEND qualification are desirable but not essential.
