Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy operation in Wolverhampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driver looking for stable full-time work, guaranteed hours, overtime opportunities, and additional daily bonuses, working with an established and professional business.

• £14.50 per hour
• Guaranteed 45-hour week
• Overtime paid at x1.5 for all hours worked over 45
• £10 early start bonus for shifts starting before 4:30am
• £3 daily meal allowance
• £26.50 night allowance (where applicable)
• Full PPE and uniform provided
• Company pension scheme
• Death in Service benefit – x4 annual salary after 6 months service
• Stable, full-time work with a well-established business

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 (18t – 26t) curtain-sider vehicles
• Collect and transport waste materials including aerosols, oily rags, and paint products
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly
• Use tablet-based systems to complete job records and vehicle logs
• Follow all transport, road safety, and site health & safety procedures
• Deliver a professional, helpful service to customers on-site
• Maintain high operational and safety standards at all times

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR and Moffett qualifications are preferred (but not essential)
• Experience with hazardous waste or curtain-sider vehicles is advantageous
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
• Good communication skills and customer-focused approach
• Flexibility for early starts (from 4:30am)
