Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Assist with subcontractor and supplier buyouts, procurement, and contract management.
- Support project closeout documentation and ensure all requirements are met.
- Manage the submittal and RFI processes, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
- Evaluate RFPs and solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Oversee owner and subcontractor change orders, tracking costs and approvals.
- Proactively resolve project-related issues to keep schedules and budgets on track.
- Monitor and ensure the timely procurement of materials.
- Work closely with the project management team in a small, collaborative environment with direct access to ownership.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction APM - Public Projects should have:
- 1-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Preferred project background:
Ground-up or renovation experience on projects $20M+, ideally within public, academic, or K-12 construction. - Education:
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required). - Technical
Skills:
Experience using Procore or other construction management software. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be commutable to Waltham, MA. No hybrid/remote options available.
- Salary: $85K-$125K (based on experience).
- Project Bonus:
For on-time project completion. - Health Benefits:
