PositionGoshen Valley Boys Ranch in Waleska, GA is looking for a part‑time Maintenance Technician to support our 160‑acre home‑style campus.
ResponsibilitiesFacilities Maintenance
- Perform maintenance and repairs of buildings, equipment, and systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
- Execute maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or facility upgrades.
Event Support
- Assist with the setup and tear‑down of on‑site events, ensuring all facility‑related logistics are executed efficiently.
- Assist Maintenance Manager in providing facility support for special events and gatherings.
Volunteer & Community Engagement
- Assist with volunteer‑led projects by providing tools, materials, and guidance to ensure successful completion.
- Serve as a group leader for volunteer groups during service days.
Youth Work Program Management
- Supervise and mentor youth employed in the Ranch’s work program, providing instruction, accountability, and encouragement.
- Foster a positive, structured work environment that supports skill‑building and personal growth.
Job Type: Part‑time working up to 24 hours per week.

Requirements- Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
- Two or more years of experience in general facilities operations, including general maintenance and repair, and lawn care experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical requirements:
Ability to lift, lie overhead, and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally; ability to climb stairs frequently; ability to remain balanced to stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, turn, and reach down, forward, and overhead repetitively; ability to push/pull and maneuver maintenance equipment through grounds/buildings. - Must be of good character and supportive of the programs, policies, and ideals of GVF.
- Must be able to pass a health exam, drug and background check, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable by GVF insurance carrier.
