Responsibilities- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, guiding members on self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
- Assist management with supervision of associates, including assigning duties, communicating goals, providing training and feedback, coaching on member service techniques, ensuring compliance with company policies, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, and evaluating associates.
- Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organize and maintain the sales floor, and complete required paperwork and logs.
- Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and hazardous material handling procedures, adhering to steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Ensure sales floor and merchandise presentation complies with company policies, including handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, arranging displays, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards, and category merchandising.
- Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change or new challenges.
- Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, collaborate with managers and partners, analyze progress, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards using the Open Door Policy and assist management with ethical issues.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Six months retail experience AND six months customer service experience.
- Leading a team, supervising experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload.
The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
