What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Log and track commercial invoices, IPAC transactions, and related payment documents in the accounting system
  • Disseminate and track vouchers through Agency systems for administrative approvals
  • Input critical voucher and invoice data to facilitate payments
  • Identify and communicate deficiencies in invoice submissions, coordinating corrective actions
  • Maintain and reconcile physical and electronic payment files to support contract closeout
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting government payment processing, document control, or invoice tracking
  • Alternatively, eight (8) years of directly related experience in lieu of education
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payment actions concurrently
  • Knowledge of federal payment processing policies and regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience utilizing federal financial management systems
  • Familiarity with the Prompt Payment Act and applicable provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with vendors and agency stakeholders
