Assistant Construction Superintendent - Commercial & Industrial

• Support the Lead Superintendent in managing daily jobsite operations
• Coordinate field activities and subcontractor workflows
• Gain hands-on experience in a growth-oriented role with a path to Lead Superintendent

We are seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support field operations on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role assists the Lead Superintendent with day-to-day site management, subcontractor coordination, and safety enforcement, while gaining exposure to all phases of construction from mobilization through closeout.

• Assist in directing daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
• Track project milestones and help ensure subcontractors and vendors meet schedule commitments
• Perform daily safety inspections, lead toolbox talks, and verify work complies with building codes and project specifications
• Maintain accurate daily reports including manpower counts, equipment usage, material deliveries, and completed work
• Identify potential site issues or delays early and collaborate with the Superintendent on solutions
• Manage punch lists, RFIs, and as-built documentation to support a smooth project closeout
• Coordinate daily with inspectors, subcontractors, and clients to maintain workflow and communication

• Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent on commercial or industrial construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents accurately
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and general building codes
• Strong communication skills, organized work habits, and the ability to multitask on active jobsites
• Basic proficiency with construction management software such as Procore preferred
