PositionSummary
The Sales Executive is responsible for broker and employer development in their perspective territory and wholesale employee benefits sales. The Sales Executive develops a sales territory and networks while meeting company strategic plan and goals. The Sales Executive works closely with prospects, brokers, and internal departments to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage their sales region for growth with insurance broker and employer prospects.
- Lead the day‑to‑day operations of their sales region.
- Follow the strategic sales plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Uphold activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes by monitoring performance on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee the preparation of services proposals and RFP responses.
- Conduct sales presentations as needed.
- Create and build strategic partnerships with brokers and consultants through consistent contact, professional meetings, responsive communication, problem resolution and meeting customer expectations.
- May represent company at conferences and trade shows to network and promote Boon solutions.
- Pass all applicable trainings specific to HIPAA and any other company required trainings.
- Follow company policies and procedures required to comply with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
The target salary range (base salary) for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

- Minimum of 2+ years proven success in exceeding new business sales goals.
- High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 5+ years of experience in healthcare or employee benefits preferred.
- Life and Health License required.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling services.
- Leadership skills and the ability to drive sales.
- Expert computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the Internet.
