The Office Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment at Yakima Chief Ranches. This role ensures that office spaces, restrooms, conference rooms, and common areas meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.

• Clean and sanitize office areas, including workstations, hallways, and conference rooms
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces in conference rooms
• Monitor cleaning supply levels and report when restocking is needed
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Follow proper safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
• Dependable and punctual
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is helpful but not required

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–40 pounds (adjust as needed)
• Comfortable using cleaning tools and equipment
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals following guidelines

20 hours per week.
