Key Responsibilities- Support the Purchase to Pay team in day‑to‑day operations and projects
- Manage the end‑to‑end accounts payable process, including 3‑way matching and vendor payment management
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external escalations and query resolution
- Supervise the AP shared mailbox and ensure timely responses
- Implement workflow improvements to enhance AP efficiency and accuracy, aiming for first‑time match rates
- Oversee weekly payment runs ensuring invoices are approved and ready for payment
- Process and clear down DD/SO transactions
- Observe internal controls to ensure compliance with credit, procurement, and policy procedures
- Support the company’s travel and expense policy, including Concur reporting and audit requirements
- Manage AP month‑end close process and reporting requirements
- Review current procedures and recommend process improvements
- Reconcile vendor accounts and support cost management and reporting
- Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in purchase to pay operations with end‑to‑end knowledge of the P2P process and AP best practices
- Strong appreciation of the purchase order system and its control functions
- Capability to lead process and control improvements and forge relationships across the business
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to provide constructive challenges
- Experience and knowledge of SAP
- Ability to analyse and interpret data effectively; advanced Excel skills
- Self‑motivated, self‑starting, able to multi‑task and manage own workload
- Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
- Improve and maximise productivity while reducing inefficiencies
- Drive better results through efficient practice
- Improve AP processing times and query resolution
- Achieve key reporting deadlines and improve KPIs
- Provide prompt and accurate balance sheet reconciliation
