Location: Building Envelope - Waukesha, WI
Hourly Pay: $26.26 + $1.00 shift Superintendent (2nd shift: 2pm – 12:30am, Mon‑Thu)
The Quality Control Lab Technician maintains and follows quality assurance processes that describe the testing of products, recording of test results, analysis of uncertified results, and providing batch corrections to the manufacturing team.
What You’ll Accomplish- Adhere to and follow all safety rules.
- Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies.
- Maintain the 5S standard in the Quality Lab and Offices.
- Perform work in a timely manner.
- Perform analysis of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
- Recommend batch corrections to ensure product conformity.
- Alert supervision to product quality, process quality, or machine operation concerns.
- Place non-conforming material on quality control hold for further review.
- Accurately record testing results using appropriate quality control forms and systems.
- Release finished company systems.
- Safely manage and handle hazardous materials/waste as part of lab sampling.
- Create and post basic product quality reports.
- Scan and save quality records in quality control systems.
- Other duties, including occasional production support, as assigned.
- High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience.
- Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Calendar.
- Ability to read and follow English work instructions. irrelevant
- Ability to learn and use measurement tools.
- Comfort working independently and troubleshooting within training limits.
- Personal ability to present accurate data without making decisions on non-conforming product disposition.
