William Paterson University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions within the College of Education, Department of Educational Leadership & Professional Studies. Programs- MA in Higher Education Administration
- MEd in Curriculum and Learning – concentrations in Bilingual/ESL, Early Childhood Education, School Library Media, School Nursing, and STEAM
- MEd Educational Leadership
- MEd in Literacy
The Department of Educational Leadership and Professional Studies offers graduate study for education professionals who seek to enhance their careers with advanced degrees, certifications, and endorsements, including the opportunity to teach, supervise, and provide leadership at all levels of instruction.
Responsibilities- Use course outlines to develop syllabi, including content, objectives, and student assessment for up to six credits per semester in graduate courses.
- Provide consistent, effective support and guidance to students through teaching, modeling, and mentoring.
- Doctorate in Education or a related field (required).
- One or more years of teaching in higher education (preferred).
- Experience teaching using multiple modalities (preferred).
- Thrives in a collegial, cooperative environment.
- Dedicated to excellence and achieving positive outcomes.
- Able to interact with others in a positive manner.
- Capacity to fulfill professional responsibilities.
Adjuncts are paid per credit: $2,100 per credit for new employees, $2,175 per credit for employees with 13 or more semesters position may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance and retirement plans.
