What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor check-in support, and other front desk security-related duties appropriate to a healthcare location.
* Monitor lobby and reception activity, help to identify unusual or unauthorized behavior, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Assist with access control processes by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials, and communicating entry guidelines to guests and/or staff.
* Answer questions, provide directions, and support emergency response activities by notifying appropriate personnel and following post orders and site-specific protocols.
* Maintain detailed and accurate front desk records, incident notes, and shift communications to support ongoing security-related operations at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
* Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Loss prevention experience is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
