Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for operating room duties in a busy surgical unit. The role involves providing perioperative care for a variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with all phases of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes or emergencies promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures in EMR systems.
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
- Provide postoperative care and patient education as needed.
- Valid RN license with at least 1 year of OR experience.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical settings.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
- Ability to float across multiple units and adapt to different surgical cases.
