Team Manager

We are looking for a Team Manager

• To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Cashiers & Accounts Payable team within the Revenues and Benefits service and wider Finance department
• To support the teams with the development and promotion of electronic services and automation
• Responsible for allocating work, monitoring performance and managing rotas
• To manage 3rd party contractors and ensure cash flow into the Council is correctly governed

• At least 3 days based in the Cashiers Office in Oldbury Council House with some homeworking

• Experience of managing financial transactions including cash, cheques, BACS, processing invoices, daily balancing and controls
• Experience of managing people & teams
• Experience of managing 3rd party contracts ensuring services delivered within SLA
• Experience of managing change within an organisation

A standard DBS is required for this role.
