Responsible for providing professional Human Resources support to managers at corporate and business unit levels of the corporation; provides support in a variety of functional areas: HRIS administration, data analysis, compliance reporting, performance management, policy implementation, training, employment, affirmative action, legal compliance and corporate recruitment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This class specification lists the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. Incumbent(s) may be expected to perform job-related duties other than those contained in this document and may be required to have specific job-related knowledge and skills.

1. Performs HRIS administration, including security management, report generation, and customer service for Regional HR Managers in the organization.

2. Provides functional systems support for end users.

3. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.

4. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals; provides recommendations for new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.

5. Assists with all federal and state compliance reporting requirements, including EEO-1 and affirmative action program; ensures corporate compliance.

6. Assists with management of corporate Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

7. Assists with the management of the recruitment process and life-cycle, including sourcing, initial assessments, interviews, and offers.

8. Provides consulting services to managers and supervisors in regard to search and selection processes and procedures; conducts job analyses as required to support sourcing efforts.

9. Assists with special projects; compiles, evaluates and communicates information.

10. Provides direction and guidance to HR staff to address and resolve human resources issues.

11. Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning human resources related data such as applicants, hires, transfers, and performance appraisals.

12. Maintains currency of employment regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, applicable laws, and employment legislation.

13. Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.

14. Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in human resources administration, or a closely related field; AND two (2) years of professional human resources experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Required Knowledge:

* Principles, practices and techniques of human resources administration, including recruitment and selection, job analysis, payroll, compensation administration, employee relations, and employee development.
* Applicable employment laws, codes and regulations.
* Computer applications and systems related to the work.
* Records management principles and practices.
* Techniques for working with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, occasionally where relations may be confrontational or strained.
* Principles and techniques of providing effective oral presentations.
* Principles and practices of program planning, development and evaluation.
* Principles, practices and techniques of recruitment and selection.
* Correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.

* Training others in policies and procedures related to the work.
* Performing professional-level human resources duties in a variety of assigned areas.
* Interpreting, applying and explaining applicable laws, codes and regulations.
* Maintaining accurate records and files.
* Carrying assigned analytical projects through, from data collection to report generation.

* Preparing clear and concise reports, correspondence and other written materials.
