What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

* Screen visitors, employees, and/or contractors as they enter the location, checking identification, credentials, and permitted items in accordance with post orders and agency guidelines.

* Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

* Monitor entry points and public areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and report security-related concerns through the appropriate channels.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional support.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

* Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

* Be 21+ years of age.

* Access control and badge experience is preferred.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
