Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSU Team)

Pay Rate: $16.25/hr

Location: Fully remote from your home (Eastern Standard Time)

Contract Duration: Temp to Hire

Training Schedule: M-F 9:00AM EST to 4:00PM EST - 2 weeks classroom training

Hours of Operation: It will be based on the Hospital/Practice Location - All schedules based on Eastern Standard Time

+ 8AM to 8PM EST - Most Hospitals are in the schedule of 8AM to 6:30PM EST

Remote Position:

The Customer Service Unit (CSU) represents our hospital clients to patients when they call. Whatever impression is left with them from their call to us is how they feel about the hospital. CSU applies the company's principles of strong people, excellent processes, and effective technology to provide excellent customer service and better patient outcomes. This is a great position for anyone who is passionate about helping others and has the charisma to instantly connect with people.

Your day to day role will include:

+ Answer promptly to inbound calls from client hospitals regarding billing questions.

+ Answers patient inquiries by clarifying desired information.

+ Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved issues.

+ Gathers and enters patient information into hospital host system and company Tools


Required Qualifications:

•High school diploma or GED required

•Experience with customer service

•Computer savvy with experience navigating between multiple systems simultaneously

•Must have MS Office Experience and excellent typing skills

•Must have a high degree of customer service skills in order to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians and care teams

•Must demonstrate problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail

You must Have:

+ Excellent customer service skills exhibiting good oral and written communication skills.

+ Moderate computer skills (internet, email, MS Office 365) - Ability to maneuver in a fast pace environment multi-task using multiple monitors and multiple tools at once. eSkill's testing to be completed.

+ Prior remote/virtual call center experience - Having worked in a virtual call center, candidates who understand what it is like working virtually with less face-to-face engagement.

+ Call Center/Contact Center experience - Having worked in a call center, candidates who understand what it's like to be connected to a headset and have cadence of their day dictated by callers.

+ Medical or insurance background or experience - Being somewhat familiar with insurance concepts and/or medical terminology, makes the CSU easier to succeed.

+ Customer Service experience - Consistent demonstrated success in a customer service-oriented position shows commitment to be a nice person and satisfying customer's needs.

CSU Requirements:

+ High Speed Internet - Proof must be provided. Minimal / Recommended Requirement:

+ Minimal 35 Mbps Download/10 Mbps Upload Speed

+ Recommended 75 Mbps Download/15 Mbps Upload Speed

+ Must be hardwired via Ethernet cable - Wi-Fi is not acceptable

+ Must attend 2 weeks of training - Any time off during training will be consider as job abandonment

+ Training is M-F 9:00AM EST to 4:00PM EST - 2 weeks classroom training

+ No Time-Off request during training

+ No call-ins during training

+ No PTO/Time-off requests for first 90 days of training

+ Time-Off request must be submitted in writing to hiring agency prior to accepting CSU Position

+ Hiring Agency must submit time-off requests date sent to the hiring managers

**Client video interviews will be held Friday each week at 10am, 10:45am or 11:30am**
