Position: Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Westlake, OH

This Med Surg/Telemetry RN position places you in a fast-paced, 29-bed unit caring for a range of patients, including those with orthopedic, neuro, and telemetry needs. As a traveling nurse, you'll work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays (Navy blue scrubs required). You'll expand your clinical expertise and gain unique insights from collaborating with diverse leadership and clinical teams-an ideal chance to strengthen your practice and enrich your résumé with new skills and approaches.

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in OH or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience (travel experience not required)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification (all required prior to start)
• Proficiency with insulin gtts, dysrhythmia recognition (exam required, study guide available)
• Familiarity with wound vacs, PICC and central lines, BiPAP/CPAP/high flow oxygen, non-titratable heparin and insulin drips

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips once per shift in EPIC
• Serve as a patient advocate; facilitate interdisciplinary care coordination
• Manage care for patients with multi-system needs, lines/drains, and various respiratory modalities
• Support family communication and patient education
• Adapt confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions and work schedules
