About the RoleWe are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide clinical instruction and supervision to students during their first practicum placement in Continuing Care. The role will introduce students to experiential learning, simulation, skill development, mentorship, and course delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical instruction and supervision to students during their first practicum placement in Continuing Care.
- Introduce experiential learning, simulation, skill development, mentorship, and course delivery.
- Schedule:
Weekdays during the day (no nights or weekends) tentatively from March 19th to April 20th, 2026.
- Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in nursing, or diploma in practical nursing.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with Yukon Registered Nurses Association.
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse in Yukon or eligibility to be licensed as a Practical Nurse in Yukon.
- Experience in diverse settings, including community care, long-term care, and acute care is preferred.
- Extensive experience in continuing care is an asset.
- Previous instructional experience is an asset but not essential.
