Min Wage: $36.37 hourly

Max Wage: $37.13 hourly

As a Library Supervisor 1 you will provide support in the effective operation of the library. The work includes supervisory and administrative duties.

• Computer experience with Microsoft Office plus excellent keyboarding skills

Completion of the following courses or equivalent courses from recognized institutions with library technician programs from:

UFV: two out of three of the following:

• LIBT 100:
  Introduction to Libraries
• LIBT 140:
  Library Public Services
• LIBT 145:
  Online Searching

Or alternately,

Langara: two out of three of the following:

• LI  1120:
  Philosophy and Functions
• LI  2416:
  Reference Resources and Services
• LI  1111:
  Online Search and Information Handling

Introductory supervisory training from a recognized institution, or equivalent. This is in addition to courses taken as part of the diploma / degree requirement.

• Combination of one year work related and on the job experience.
• Valid B.C. Driver's Licence (minimum Level 'N').
• Criminal Record check is required.
