Class A CDL Driver

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to support regional material deliveries and yard operations. This role involves operating a variety of vehicles including semi trucks, flatbeds while ensuring safe and efficient transport of materials between job sites, fabrication facilities, and yard locations.

• Perform local and regional deliveries with a home-daily schedule
• Transport materials between:
  • Job sites
  • Fabrication shop
  • Yard locations (including low-speed yard operations ~30 mph)
• Operate equipment including:
  • Semi trucks
  • Flatbed trailers
  • Peterbilt trucks
  • Yard jockey / rider power units
• Secure loads using chains, straps, and wood supports
• Ensure all shipments are safe, compliant, and properly secured in accordance with DOT regulations
• Coordinate with material handlers (who typically load trucks)
• Assist with unloading, often supported by crane operations

• Flatbed trailers
• Semi trucks (including Peterbilt)
• Yard jockey vehicles for on-site transport

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Must meet DOT compliance standards
• Experience with flatbed hauling preferred
• Ability to properly secure loads using chains and straps
• Strong attention to safety and detail
