Raytheon - - US-NC-WILSON-4200 ~ 4200 Airport Dr ~ BLDG 4200 - Responsibilities:
Set up and operate welding equipment:
Position parts in jigs or fixtures, select appropriate welding tools and materials, and set up welding equipment according to technical drawings and WPS parameter ranges.;
Perform welding operations:
Execute manual, semiautomatic, mechanized, and automatic GTAW welding operations on thin-gauge materials.;
Inspect and repair welds:
Examine welds according to visual weld inspection and commercial quality criteria; use inspection tools.;
Follow safety and compliance standards:
Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, and International Trade Compliance; maintain a clean work area.;
Support and train:
Assist in training other welders, plan and perform a variety of welding operations, interpret technical documents.
